Tori and Joe in Central Park, NYC

Posted by Mariah, Photos by Trish:
Joe and Tori met us in the park in the late morning... Trish and I had fun watching the horses clomp by with their carriages and passengers while we sat in the shade waiting for T & J to arrive. Tori and Joe live in the city now but Tori is originally from the Newport and Joe is from Las Vegas. They met in college at Fordham University, which as it turned out, was right next to our hotel. Tori says she really likes "classic" things, so I think she'll appreciate this first kind of classic portrait.

Joe and Tori are having their "classic" Newport wedding at Rosecliff this September.

I love this photo of Tori. She is a really dynamic girl, full of ENERGY! She's spunky, smart and enthusiastic, that's our kind of bride! Oh, and she's stunning, how about those eyes?

She's kind of a classic California- surfer type beauty. I don't know id she actually surfs, but I could picture her doing it!

Too cute.

I love this photo. Tori told us that Joe is very funny and is always quick with the witty (code for smart-alec) comments. He can't help it... he's Italian!

It was hard to get a photo of them serious, they crack each other up.

See?

Love this one, challenging to get- but worth it! Nice job Trish.

Tori has been having nightmares that Trish and I miss her wedding... I analyzed her dreams for her and I think what I came up with is that she's worried she'll miss part of the fun of the day if she doesn't let go and just enjoy... hard to do when you are so involved and focused on the planning. It's hard to switch gears.. but don't worry we'll help Tori and remind her to breathe and have fun! And, we'll definitely be there!

I love this one too.

Ah, Romantic.

Ditto.

Will end it with one more classic but lovey- dovey shot... these guys look good together.

Bam! Sorry about the pollen on your ring after this shot Tori!

Tori and Joe, Thanks for the restaurant recommendation... it was just the ticket.
Maybe these pix will help you to stop having Snap!- induced nightmares- we wouldn't miss it for the world!

Amanda and Jeremy in NYC

Posted by Mariah:
Doesn't the old saying go..."What does not kill us will make us stronger"....? Amanda and Jeremy needed a little vacation so they decided to meet us in NYC. A few weeks Amanda lost everything she owned in the big Rhode Island FLOOD! A + J watched in horror as the entire apartment was consumed by three feet of flood water. So, why are they so happy? because they are in love, that's why! Duh. Trish and I met Amanda and Jeremy in Rockefeller Center, a favorite hangout for them.

Amanda is an optimist... she sees the glass as half full. Lost all my clothes? Just an excuse to buy new ones! (Cute jacket by the way).

Amanda was at work when her apartment building began to flood. She told Jeremy to grab her some clothes. He grabbed two pairs of pants and a pair of shoes. No shirts! No underwear! Typical guy. Good thing Amanda has a sense of humor. She'll need it if she has to go to work topless! (That will teach Jeremy).

Love this one... hello spring!

Happy Happy Happy.

Really LOVE this one.

These guys are so cute bopping around the city together having adventures.

Smooching, it's a classic.

I love all these city-ish photos that Trish got.

Oh yeah. A canvas for their newly painted walls? I think so.

I love that one minute you are in the middle of the city and the next minute you are in the park.

Winding down in a shady spot, shady in a good way- not shady in a we might get mugged way.

Love this one. Jeremy is thinking... how did I get so lucky to find this little cutie?

Amanda feels pretty lucky too I think.

And, to top it off a little bling amongst the moss.

A + J, hope your lives are getting back to normal. Hope you are having fun buying a new wardrobe, and home goods, linens, kitchen supplies, bedding...etc etc. Hey, that's not fun, just expensive! Thanks for getting up early in the morning! xoxox Mariah & Trish

Emily and Adam in Central Park, NYC

Posted by Mariah:

Emily + Adam...our first shoot of the weekend. We met them in the park on Friday afternoon. The temperature was lovely, the light was beautiful, and the company was absolutely enjoyable. What a fabulous couple these two are! So sweet, funny, friendly, and let's not forget good looking! We had fun walking around a bit and I was pretty dazzled by Emily's sassy little dress. They were good troopers climbing into this potentially poison ivy filled location.
They were rewarded for the perseverance with a little shower of falling petals. Pretty magical.

Romantical.

Are they cute or what? Don't they totally match?!

I love the pattern of the tunnel with the pattern in Emily's dress, it's kind of patriotic in a way.

She's definitely a star.

Relaxing in the park...

I LOVE this photo. It's a classic. It really captures a moment in time.

A slightly different angle, but the same idea.

I asked Emily and Adam how they met, they were set up on a blind date! Apparently, they had a mutual friend (forgive me, her name escapes me). Anyway, the friend told Emily, "I know your next boyfriend." Problem was, Emily was already attached. Guess her friend wasn't giving that relationship very good odds! Meanwhile, Adam was wondering when he was going to get to go out with this girl he had been hearing about (Emily). Because Emily wasn't quite in the market, the friend set him up with someone else. It was a less than fabulous experience that left poor Adam a little traumatized. Meanwhile, Emily had become a free agent, but now Adam was gun shy! Will these two ever meet?! Brave Adam gave his friend another chance to set him up despite her serious lapse in judgement the first time. Thank goodness he is a forgiving guy because in walked Emily! The rest is history...

Pretty stylish!

I love this one.

Emily, you are gorgeous!

So cute!

How's that for sparkle? A sparkly ring for a sparkly girl.
Emily and Adam, I can't wait to photograph your wedding in June! Thank you for finding us in the park & thank you for working it in the photos. Hope you love them!
